Joel C. Harbinson, Attorney at Law is a 1979 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law where he received a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree. That same year, he was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and has been licensed to practice law in North Carolina since that time.
Since 1979, Harbinson has been an active member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He was also inducted into the Phi Delta Phi international legal fraternity.
For over three decades, he has practiced law on a full-time basis in the state of North Carolina, much of it in the area of criminal law, having successfully handled literally thousands of traffic cases.
Harbinson has consistently received the coveted “AV” ranking from the nationally recognized Martindale-Hubbell legal directory over the course of his career in law. The “A” signifies the highest level of legal ability while the “V” denotes “very high” adherence to the professional standards of conduct, reliability, and diligence. As a result, he is now listed nationally in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
