1. Based on my knowledge of my driving record over the last three (3) years, I do not feel that I am in jeopardy of having my license suspended or revoked for accumulating a sufficient number of points on my driver’s license even if I am convicted of this traffic offense.
2. I do not have a commercial, school bus, or other specialized driver’s license nor did I receive this ticket while driving with a commercial, school bus, or other specialized license.
3. The traffic ticket I received was not the result of an accident in which I was cited by the officer for being at fault.
4. No alcohol or non-prescription drugs were found on my person or in my vehicle at the time the traffic ticket was given.
5. The violation did not occur in either a school or work zone.
6. I did not have any type of verbal or physical altercation with the officer who gave me the ticket.
7. I have not been convicted of either “careless and reckless driving” or “speeding greater than 55 mph” within the last twelve (12) months.
8. I am not currently on probation or parole in any State.
9. I have not received a Prayer for Judgment Continued (PJC) in any traffic case in the last three (3) years.
10. I currently have a valid driver’s license which is not in a state or revocation, suspension, or probation in North Carolina or any other state.
11. I am not charged with any other traffic and/or criminal offense on this traffic ticket than the one in which I am seeking legal representation.
12. My ticket is scheduled to be heard in the Administrative Court in the county in which I am charged and on the courtdate as it appears on my traffic ticket.
13. I understand that any plea in court is subject to being accepted by the District Attorneys’ Office and can be rejected by them at any time.
14. I have not taken any prior action concerning my ticket such as hiring an attorney and/or having my case either continued to or in District Court or appealed to Superior Court.
15. I understand and agree that my case will be handled personally in court by Joel C. Harbinson, Attorney at Law, or any associate or representative as he shall so choose.
16. I understand and agree that the attorney handling my case may immediately withdraw as my attorney of record for any reason upon a refund to me of the monies I advance.
17. I agree and understand that Joel C. Harbinson, Attorney at Law, shall not be required to pursue an appeal in the event one becomes necessary after a particular plea has been entered.
